Adeline Dugo (nee lzzi), 92, returned to her heavenly home on May 18, 2017 after a valiant battle with Alzheimer’s. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace. Adeline was born to the late Julio and Nicoletta lzzi. Adeline is preceded in death by her husband, the late Joseph Dugo. She is survived by her children, Rosemarie Dufner (Barney) and Joanne Kaszynski (the late Richard); her grandchildren Kerri Chval (Bill), Julie Dufner (Chris Del Boccio), Kelli Anderson (Jens), Joey Kaszynski and Kate Kaszynski (fiance Tom Redmond); her great grandchildren Gianna, Kaili and Hannah Chval and Logan and Cassidy Anderson; her brother Anthony lzzi (Theresa). She was preceded in death by her brothers William lzzi (the late Angela) and Alphonse lzzi (Margaret). She was a beloved Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Adeline will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, a loyal friend and the maker of the best meatballs and gravy.
Funeral Monday 9:00 a.m. from Salerno’s Galewood Chapel, 1857 N. Harlem Avenue, Chicago to St. Vincent Ferrer Church, Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
