What a guy! He took care of everyone in Special Operations Group, Area 1. He could maneuver around any obstacle. Tony was one of a kind and will surely be missed, but he’s now with a bunch of great guys.

Dear Belmonte Family, I worked in Special Operations Area One for ten years, 1972-1982. Tony was our unit secretary. What a great guy! Always quick with a quip and he knew how to navigate the bureaucratic swamp of the city and the CPD. A good man to have on you side as he would go to the wall for any of us. I thought about him often over the years. While I am saddened by your loss, he joins many other law enforcement legends. Godspeed, paisan; I'll see you on the other side.
