Anthony P. Nuzzo ofChicago, Illinois
July 11, 1969 – March 19, 2022
Anthony Paul Nuzzo Jr., beloved father, uncle, and friend, passed away Saturday morning, March 19, 2022, at Alexian Brothers Hospital in Elk Grove Village, IL. He was 52 years old.

A loving family member, Anthony was born in Chicago, IL on July 11, 1969, to Anthony P. Nuzzo Sr. and Christine M. Nuzzo. His earliest memories were making pizzas in the kitchen with his mother and brothers and stealing Christmas cookies from his aunt’s basement freezer with his cousin Edward.

After graduating from Fremd High School, Anthony continued to impress the world with his many business ventures. He’s taken part in starting many companies with family and friends across the world. He was often heard saying “You need to live life to the fullest, work hard, and play harder.” Anthony enjoyed spending time on his boat, taking family and friends out to dinner, cheering on the Chicago Bears and Vegas Golden Knights, traveling to El Salvador, cooking for his family and friends, and so many other things. We take comfort in knowing that he had a life that was well-lived.

Anthony was preceded in death by his father, Anthony P. Nuzzo Sr., mother, Christine M. Nuzzo.

Anthony is survived by his children: Kayla, Jordan, and Sierra (Reed); his brothers: James (Michelle) and Dominick; his nieces and nephews; Hannah, Annabella, Gabriel, Amilee, Christine and Dominic, cherished Cousin and Friend of many, treasured cousin and business partner Edward Carfora, beloved cousin of John Johanns, and the cherished family dog Lucia.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 25, 2022, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Salerno Galewood Chapel, 1857 N. Harlem Ave. Chicago, IL 60707. Funeral Service Saturday, March 26, 2022, at 11:30 a.m., at Salerno Galewood Chapel. All that loved Anthony are welcome to attend.

Anthony was a great person. Although I would only see him a few times a year he always treated me as if we were dear friends. I always enjoyed talking to him about his business ventures, cars, and his visions for the future. He always asked how my family was doing and always made me feel like a part of his family. Anthony will be missed dearly and my thoughts and prayers are with the entire family! See you again Anthony.

My sincere and heartfelt sympathy to ALL of Anthony's family and friends...nothing I can say will make this easy for any of you....only "time" will help you to heal... I only met Anthony a few times, but I knew when we met that he was a special person who enjoyed life and had a great love for those who loved him. With that said.....he was my daughter's best friend. He was there for her ALWAYS and she for him. They had good times and bad times but it was a great friendship.....and when you lose "family" it is devastating...you feel an emptiness that cannot be described...we can only hope that Time will heal us...Knowing Anthony, he wouldn't want any of his loved ones to grieve for long...he would want you all to remember him with a happy heart and know in your heart of hearts that he lived his life the way he wished...to the fullest! He was a great man with a loving heart and will continue to be with you in spirit..always! R.I.P. Anthony....you will be sadly missed...xo
