Anthony Turi, age 91, born February 28, 1930 in Triggiano, Bari. Tony immigrated to the United States in 1947 and made Chicago his home. He entered the United States Armed Forces in 1951and proudly served our country during the Korean Conflict, He was also a proud member of Union Local 502 as a Cement Mason. He was an avid gardener sharing his bounty with family and friends, and Tony was a true BEARS fan!
Tony was a loving brother to Michele (Grazia), Angelo (Stella), Giuseppe (Maria) and the late Vito (Anna), Anna (Alberto) and Rosetta (Giuseppe) . He is also loved and will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Loving husband of the late Rosa, He is survived by his daughters Grace (Bryan), Anna (Vince), and Stella. HIs most beloved role was that of Nonno to Emanuel, Angela, Isabella, Anna, and Julietta.
Our hearts are filled with beautiful memories.
Visitation Tuesday 9:00-10:30 a.m.at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels 450 W. Lake St. Roselle, IL. 60172 (3/4 mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Rd.) to St. Isidore Church for mass at 10:45 a.m. Entombment All Saints Cemetery. Tony was a proud member of Cement Masons Local 502.
