Antoinette "Toni" Crokin

Funeral Notes: All Services will be private
Interment: Burial Private

Antoinette “Toni” Crokin (nee DiBenedetto) was called to heaven on November 7th in her Glendale Heights home at the age of 92. Antoinette was born on July 28, 1928 to Theresa and Gaetano DiBenedetto and grew up in Chicago with her 4 siblings. Toni was a beloved wife to the late Donald Crokin Sr., adored mother to the late Donald Jr (Clare), Thomas(Kathy), Richard(Elizabeth), Michael(Mary), the late Terrance, Donna, Diane(George), and Patricia(Robert). Toni was a loving grandmother to 15 and a great grandmother to many. She was also a loved aunt, cousin, and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her big family, reading romance books, cooking, listening to Barry Manilow, playing cards, and visiting the casinos. Her ability to fill a room with smiles and laughter will greatly be missed. She may have passed on, but her memories will always live on within us. Thank you to everyone for their continuous thoughts and prayers during this difficult time for our family.

My deepest sympathy to the entire family. I had known Mrs. Crokin since about 1963 She was like a second mom to me when I lived back there. Many happy memories of her.

The best person I have ever known. She made such a loving impact on so many people. I speak for so many when I say she has the biggest heart. The kind of person who’s legacy will live on for generations. We love you so much.
