Antonio “Tony” Viray, 76 years old, joined our Creator in heaven on 7/23/2019 near his home of 35 years in Addison, IL.

Born in Tarlac, Philippines, Tony immigrated to the United States in 1973. A proud government employee from 1993-2011, he served as a CBP Officer for the Department of Homeland Security. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from the University of the Philippines – Los Banos.

A loving, kind and giving individual, Tony worked with his wife to put their three children through college. He took tremendous pride in his children and all of their accomplishments.

Always quick with a laugh, Tony loved cooking, gardening, his basement chair, and most importantly being together with the people that he loved. No matter who you were, Tony always made you feel welcome and a part of his home.

Tony is survived by his wife of 43 years Generosa; sons Brian (Sarah) and Jean-Paul; daughter Elizabeth (Greg) Johnson; grandchildren Molly, Hazel and Gwen; sister Vina (Ted and niece Teddie Bentley); and brother Willie (Bless).

Uncle Tony I’m glad I got to spend time with you this summer. The time we spent outside talking, laughing and teaching me how to cook! This beautiful memories I will never forget. You accepted me and supported me for being the Geo that I am today. You have a beautiful soul and we will forever remember you.
