My dear friend Arne Berg passed away unexpectedly on July 11, 2019. Arne was a good man, as well as an exceptional artist. Arne carefully and thoughtfully planned out his art work before starting with pastel chalks or oil paints. Each piece of art he created had tucked beneath its canvas a special note of dedication. He always looked forward to “The Taste of Elmwood Park” where he would display and sell his art pieces. I will miss Arne, but I will always hold dear to my heart a necklace he gave me many years ago that belonged to his mother. Rest in peace my dear friend, Love Debbie
