I still can't find the right words to express my sadness over Carlos' passing. We became great friends and neighbors over the past 7 years. We shared family stories, we talked sports together and we became "brothers." He was one of the most giving people I have ever known. If you needed help and he could offer it in some way, he did. No questions, no strings. We spent so many nights after I'd get off work, just sitting together and talking about whatever was on our minds at the time. He saved "my seat" more times than not, just so we could talk. The bond we formed as friends and "brothers" will live in my heart forever. To Dorota and the entire Bonet family, my deepest sympathies. Cherish the fantastic memories this wonderful man left us with. I know I will.

I first met you when Mark brought you in the bar and then I met you again when you decided to buy the bar. You brought me a brown paper bag full of cash, I thought that was so funny. Who brings a bag of cash to a closing, Carlos does. You and Dorota where wonderful to myself and Buzz. God took you too soon. May you rest in peace Carlos, you will be missed.

There are people who talk, then there are spirits that hug you close and demand a proper respect for the love given.. There are ideas, then there are passions that embrace your best and expect action. Carlos, goodness...everything holds passion under your watch. Few can or have ventured into life with such familiar and expanse autonomy and a want of grand togetherness. The years we spent, really...I consider them the ultimate, and...in such prime times...living and loving strong and without abandon....only we know. How lucky to share such strong years in adventure and vitality. The stories are untold and dear, and I'm not sure there are legends as natural to deserve them in their most adored appreciation. A person who's energy and spirit knows no excuses, accepted no bs, yet listened to know. To hold your strength and friendship in heart is something I always have, and always will. To love on your own terms, and define such memorable nature, ..so few will know as we did. If there was a prime, we were at it's core. I am greatful for those magic years so few could ever have. You bring a faith in God that will last eternally. I light an eternal flame in your honor, Carlos. Life's best, a legend of friendship indeed. God bless your family.
