Beloved wife of the late Angelo La Rocco; Devoted mother of Julie Lucas (Mikolasko), Thomas Mikolasko, Roxanne Allen (La Rocco), Angelo La Rocco Jr. and Rocky La Rocco; Loving daughter of the late Anthony and Constance D’Amore; Dear sister of John D’Amore, the late Anthony D’Amore and dear sister-in-law to JoAnn D’Amore (Catalano); Loving grandmother of Leah Seifert and Christine Setter (Seifert), Jack, Jason, Jacob and Matt Hauhe, Shane, Ryan, Michael and Angela La Rocco; In lieu of flowers donations are asked to be made to the American Cancer Society in Carol’s name. www.cancer.org . Carol worked at Radio Flyer for 26 years. She held the position of Factory H.R. Manager, among several other roles. In her HR role, she supported the factory workers in many ways. She provided kind words, encouragement and advice. One employee said “Carol was the factory friend who provided the tough factory workers a place to discuss problems, seek her advice and have their physical and emotional bruises mended.” She decided to “retire” as her caring heart was needed at Victory Center Retirement home. For ten years, Carol continued to offer her caring spirit to its residents. It suited her servant heart. Carol worked at the front desk, however, her role extended far beyond the Center entrance. Carol provided kindness and caring words to encourage the residents. Carol always went over and beyond her role to help others. Carol also volunteered at the Gottlieb rehabilitation Center where she handled the finances so that the staff could attend to other tasks.
