Cecilia C. Tiojanco, 74, of Union City, CA, passed away on March 11, 2019, surrounded by her three daughters. She was born in Baliuag, Bulacan on July 27, 1944 to Tagumpay and Guadalupe Cruz.

In 1968, Cecilia moved from the Philippines to Chicago, IL. It was in Chicago where she met her husband, Danilo. They were married on December 30, 1972 and celebrated 39 years of marriage before his passing.

A chemist by degree, Cecilia started working in the field. However, her natural gift of connecting with people led her into real estate. Cecilia worked as a realtor in the Bay Area for over 40 years and loved her job to the fullest extent. Her infectious spirit and love for life is what made her a beloved figure in the community. Whether at church, the grocery, or an open house, Cecilia was quick to make friends. Her kindness, generosity and compassion were truly the hallmarks of her character.

Cecilia survived by her three daughters, Therese, Michelle, and Monica; two grandchildren Daniel and Ethan; sister Imelda Dalupan, and two brothers Abelardo Cruz and Ernesto Cruz.

Memorial services and funeral arrangements will be held on the following days:

Monday, March 18, 2019, Viewing 4:00pm – 9:00pm at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church. Mass at 6:00pm – 34700 Fremont Blvd. Fremont, CA

Friday, March 22, 2019, Viewing 3:00pm – 9:00pm at Salerno Rosedale Chapels 450 W. Lake St. Roselle, IL 60172.

Saturday, March 23, 2019, Funeral Mass at 10:30am at St. Walters Catholic Church – 130 W. Pine St. Roselle, IL 60172
