Christine Teresa Belmonte, passed away Friday, June 3, 2022 at 3:00 am at Mercyhealth Hospital in Lake Geneva, WI. She was 85. Tina was born March 2, 1937 in Chicago to the late Antoinetta and late Joseph Bovino.

For 25 years, Tina was the Executive Secretary to the VP of St. Paul Federal Bank in Chicago, IL. Later in her life, she also served as the Treasurer of the Italian American Women’s Organization for over 25 years.

Tina enjoyed socializing, slots with her sister, and spending most of her time close to her family. She loved big and served as a “Nanie” to not only her grandchildren and great grandchildren, but everyone they introduced her to throughout the years.

Tina is survived by her two loving sons, Anthony C. IV (Traci) and Victor; grandchildren, Christine (Matthew Drzewiecki), Anthony C. V (Jessica), Mikalina, Angelina and Giovanni; step-grandchildren, Courtnie Gabala (Adam), Zachary Shannon (Kayla) and Alex Shannon (Kassandra); many loving great grandchildren; her sister Filimina “Tootsie” Borsellino; and many great nephews and nieces. Her beloved husband, Anthony C. Belmonte III; brothers, Sam Bovino and Frank Bovino; Sisters, Caroline Carberry, Antoinette “Cookie” Cardillo preceded her in death.
