Dear Rosie, Marina, Debbie, Angelo, Niko, and Marco.... I, like all the other individuals that loved you guys, felt such great sadness upon hearing of Don's death. He was quite a wonderful influence on so many people.... his kindness, his sincerity, his humor, his faith, and his love for his friends and his total and complete love and adoration of his family. Don's "goodness", for lack of a better word, has had such an impact on so many of those of us who love Don and you, his family. I can only imagine what you are feeling right now.... but you all need to know without a doubt that his love continues and that he is watching and guarding us all from up above in Heaven. I continue sending prayers and love during this difficult time in your lives and please know that I am here at anytime if you need me. Love, Kisses, and Hugs to you all.... Becky

Dear Donny I will miss you. I will miss our e-mails and occasional talks on the phone. I will miss all the fun our families used to have at Lake Lawn. Even though it has been years the memories will always be there. It seemed to be a happier simpler time for all of us. Remembering how we used to take over one of the great rooms with the fireplace and both families would bring pot luck and that would turn into a feast. The laughter and just plain good family fun was all anyone could ask for. I know that you are in heaven now and will rest in peace and be free of pain. Love you cous Laura

The Clark family have always looked forward to seeing our Venice 'family' every year. Don would usually be the 1st one there waiting for us at the Quarterdeck, it gave me happiness to see him and your whole family. He was the "matriarch' of our beach family. He is in God's hands and we'll never forget the kindness, laughter, and closeness your family brought to ours. He was a special man, wonderful husband, grandfather, and friend. You hardly ever find someone like that .j Stay close, pray and know that we are here for anything yous need. Love you all soo much!

Dear Rose, Marina, Debbie,Angelo,Niko and Marco: We are so sorry and upset over don's passing. Please know how truly devastated we are about this. You have all been so blessed to have such a great and loving husband, father, father-in-law ,and grandfather that always put his family first, a quality that is so rare today. For almost 25 years we have been honored to be a friend of Don and the entire Basile family, and hope that we may continue to maintain our friendship. Florida especially the QD will never be the same but Don's legacy and demeanor will be there forever. Even though we would only see everyone once a year for a week or so,and talked on the computer once a month we always felt like family a setting that Don created. We know how organized Don was and we are sure that everything is in order, but if we can help or support you in anyway please let us know. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time and we know that he is looking down at all of us right now with his great smile and guiding hand. Love , John,Diane,Lauren Ruggero
