So sorry to hear of your loss. My mother grew up with Ester and her brothers. She lived with her family on Orchard street in Chicago with Grandpa, and the kids. My mom went to visit you all when you moved but they lost touch. Ann has dementia and was talking about Sam who developed The Harris Bank lion. She talked about how poor they were but they always found ways to have fun. That generation never complained, worked hard and had a sense of community spirit and patriotism that you don't see much anymore. I hope Ester found peace in her later years. I remember her kindness. I can still see her father sitting on the little porch on Orchard street smiling and waving to everyone
