Did you eat? or more like D'jou eat? So many memories of great times around that table in Melrose Park. My first lamb chops and can't forget the Tripe! Danielle, Paul and Philip's first words when they walked in the door - I'm Hungry, Mama! She always asked if I ever fed them before coming over. And of course, I did , but something about walking into that house - made them hungry again! My heart breaks that you are no longer with us here, but I know in my heart, that you are baking and cooking up a storm in heaven. No longer in pain - and with the beautiful smile on your face that I will remember always. And I will see you again when my time on this earth is through. I love you Mom! Lucy

Gilda, or Jill as we called you, such a wonderful warm soul with a beautiful smile and always a kind word. I worked with Jill at East Leyden High School in the cafeteria. She made the best salads ever. She will be missed, My condolences to the family you have lost a real gem and now she will sit at Gods table for Christmas, Rest in Peace Jill Kathryn (Kit) Marzano

Dear friends and family, My heart goes out all of you during this sad time. I remember Gilda as kind and warm... you never left her house without eating something that she made, from scratch. As we all know, the circle of life has Gilda in a new and better life with our Lord and Jesus Christ. We will one day be reunited with her as well. Most sincerely, Jane (Jim) Wojtyla Cigir

Gilda, I have so many great memories of you ,your family and Auntie. All the times you would come to Waukesha with tons of food. (Bread, Salami, etc.) The times you stayed for a couple of weeks and stayed with mom. All the times we would come to Chicago and stay the weekend, we had so much fun and food. You were the best Italian cook We new. You will be missed. Love From Waukesha.

Dear Auntie, As far back as I can remember you were always there. I will never forget when I was on the Police Force and I would come to the House, you and Grandma Lucy would always have something to eat. There was that endless thermos of coffer on the counter and some sort of cookie to snack on. You last visit to the house for dinner was my September Birthday Party I have for my Grand kids and how impressed you were that Billy sat down and was talking to you. I was hoping to re-live that with you again this coming Christmas Dinner but you are Spending you Christmas Dinner this year with your Mom & Dad, Your Husband Uncle Clem, Your Son Jr, and your Brother, My father... Domenic or as he was called Big Dom and I was Little Dom. You will be missed Auntie and know that you our very much Loved. Rest in Peace. Nephew Domenic
