Flowers should be sent to Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels. Hector was born on October 15, 1932 in San Miguel Allende, GTO. Mexico. Later moved to Queretaro
where he was a founding member of the Queretaro Gallos Blancos Soccer team. His time on the team
is proudly commemorated on the stadium wall. After his time on the soccer field, he moved to Chicago in the early 50’s, joined the Army and proudly
served in the 13 th infantry. He had met the love of his life in Mexico prior to joining the service in Chicago and upon his return would then marry Aurora on November 19, 1961. They would go on to raise four daughters and have 10 grandchildren. Being married for almost 60 years their love for each
other continued to grow and the family would regularly see them walking hand in hand. Hector was always a positive, hard working man who valued family and never wanted to miss out on having fun with his extended family and many friends. He will be greatly missed.

I got to know Mr. & Mrs. Briones through their daughter Norma, whom I’ve been friends with for 10+ years. I had the pleasure of being in his company several times along with his loving wife, Aurora. He always had a smile on his face. He will not be forgotten. His spirit will live through his family. His smiles will shine down upon everyone who loved and knew him. Heaven has gained another Angel!

He was always a supportive uncle for me. When I lived in Chicago he huged me and make me feel like I was with my closest family. Really appreciated that. Every time I saw him he was always smiling. Such an easy person to spoke to. Thanks for being there when I need it. Hugs to my aunt Aurora and all of Briones family!!! Rest in Peace
