When I think about Isabela I see a kind and gentle spirit that reached out to me when my husband passed away and offered to help me and ministered to me. Isabela reminds me of Emily Dickenson’s poem: If I can stop one heart from breaking I shall not live in vein. If I can ease one life the aching or cool one pain; or help one fainting Robin back into his nest again I shall mot live in vein. She loved helping people and took care of the lost pets that needed someone to save them. She wanted a restaurant and enjoyed cooking. We could all learn from her - her kindness, faith and strength is something we could all use more of. When I think about her I think about the 1959 movie The Miracle. Izabela never lost her faith and I am going to miss her.
