Dear Jane and Family, One of the last things Jim said to me when I visited him last week, was that the only good thing about him dying was that he was not going to have to be around to bury each of us siblings. He loved each of us un-conditionally and these words from him resound the great love he had for the family. Gail said that the morning of his death the sky was cloudy and gloomy, but soon after his passing, she went outside and was greeted by a beautiful rainbow arching over the Tennessee River. Jim sent Gail a sign - he was already on the other-side of the rainbow. We will walk thru life always looking for his rainbow - it will be a huge void, but in time memories of the joy and laughter he brought to all who knew him; will sustain us all. God Bless you Jane for being a loving, caring spouse to our brother, he absolutely loved you!

Dear Jane, Words are so hard to find. I really thought he was going to beat this awful disease and out-live most of our brothers and sisters. I’m thankful he isn’t suffering anymore... Thank you for being you, he loved you so much. He was our anchor and our sail... he will be missed so much. You both brought so much joy and laughter into our family gatherings, made our Christmas’s so special... these memories, the visits to your home and many many more will always be with me. Love you both
