Preceded in death by his wife, the late Doris Mytych. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 31st, at 9:15am from Salerno’s Rosedale Funeral Chapel, 450 West Lake Street, Roselle, Illinois 60172, to St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church for a funeral mass at 10:00am. Interment private. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th, from 3:00pm to 9:00pm at Salerno’s Rosedale Funeral Chapel.

I had the pleasure to work with Jerry for several years in the Des Plaines office of AT& T. He was such a great guy, funny, smart, great sense of humor and always a Gentleman. I just had soup out of the bowl he left me when he retired. Every time, I look at that bowl I think of him! I sat right outside his office for a short time, he would always address me as D because he didn't want to mispronounce me name! Rest in Peace my friend!
