John R. Rager 80, of North Aurora, IL. passed away on February 5, 2018.
He was born in Pittsburgh, PA. to Earl and Ruth (Moran) Rager. He was
employed by Boise Cascade for several years. He then formed his own
company called Freight Management International Inc. He is survived by
his loving wife Barbara Schmid, son Sean Rager, brother James (Shirley) Rager
and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his stepsons Tony Schmid
and John (Tina) Schmid, step grandsons Johnny (Cory) Schmid and Travis Schmid.
He is also survived by his step great granddaughter Iyla Grace Schmid, and his faithful
sidekick Harley.
John, also known as Ron, was an avid hunter. He also loved restoring old cars and selling
them. Besides his parents, he is preceaded in death by his brothers Dick and Billy and his
sister Judy.
John will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
