John was a great man and he will be missed. I walked away from every conversation with him with a smile and just his outlook on life was something special. Never heard him complain about anything and you can tell how much he loved his family and just how important they were to him. He reminded me a few times not to sweat the small things and that your family is what's important in life. I am so sorry for the Trava family's loss.

I will always remember our Blackberry Brandy night before you went into the service. I have known you since we were teenagers and I have lost a truly wonderful friend. You made me laugh so much with your crazy jokes and funny stories about your mishaps and I always had a good time when I was with you and Barb. I will miss you so much when I go and visit Barb but we will always remember those good times. I love you and will always miss you.
