Joe was the man who made things happen at Thermal Company in Chicago. I got to know him very well through industry meetings and I was so happy when he decided to come to work at ILLCO. His contributions to ILLCO were enormous and his legacy will live on. May he rest in peace.

Joe McCarthy was such a great guy and an awesome refrigeration expert for Illco, Inc. until his retirement and even afterwards. I will always remember that Joe was eager to help me out in my younger years at Illco with any questions I had on our products. I am saddened to hear of his passing and will miss him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Although I didn’t know you really well, I know your children, and if this was your only true purpose on earth, to be a their father, you did a magnificent job, mission accomplished, you along with your beautiful wife raise some great individuals. I know that you’ll always be close to them because Spirit is energy and energy never dies and now you are everything and everywhere. God bless you, and thank you to God for letting our paths cross, I’m truly a better person for knowing you..
