My sympathies to the Tomasello family. Joe was a gentleman, always pleasant. I know he is happy now, being reunited with his beloved Rita, his brothers and parents. I hoped to attend the wake, but am recovering from a bad virus that I would not want to pass on. Please know that I will be praying for all of you.

My sister called me this morning and mentioned your dad's passing. Though we haven't kept in touch for several years, I do remember those great Italian get-togethers mom and nonno would have or go to! Most would be in the city at Triners, Bellagombas, Uncle Geno's...I cannot remember if we went to your dad's house for one, I can't remember lots of stuff! I talk to my mom's brother, Uncle Ed, about once a month, he and Aunt Betty also are getting on in age, 92 this year.! Facebook and cell phones now connect us to our friends and relatives, but my memories of the food and drink at these get-togethers are what I like the best. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
