Gerri, I am so sorry to hear about Lisa. To have your child precede you in death in some ways seems even more difficult than the pain of losing a parent. I am praying that God will sustain you. Sincerely, Glenn

My heart goes out to your family on the death of Lisa. Losing a loved one in death is one of the most difficult things we ever have to deal with. It can leave us feeling empty and searching for answers, like why? The bible helps us know that death wasn't God's plan for us, he created our first parents to live forever on a paradise earth (Gen.1:27,28). But they disobeyed God and died, they passed on to us sin and death. But Jehovah has promised to fulfill his original purpose for man by removing death. Isa.25:8 assures us that "Jehovah God will swallow up death forever" and John 5:28,29 tells us "there is going to be a resurrection of the dead". This is real hope for us about a time when there will be no more death and we can get a chance to see our dead loved ones again, when God will make all things new here on earth. You're in my thoughts and I hope you can find some comfort from the bible's promise as you grieve. Please you can check out www.jw.org for additional information on the bible's hope for the dead.

Gerri, David and family - Words cannot express the sympathy I feel for all of you for the loss of Lisa. I feel like I know you based on how much Lisa spoke of you and all her family including her uncles and nieces. While she started as a client, she turned into a friend. We played (and played) PlayStation and she spoke of you practically every time. She loved you, each of you, very much. For myself, I will miss her intelligence, wit, humor and concern. Most of all, I will miss her friendship. I wish you all peace at this trying time.
