Lynda Kay Loftus, daughter of Gilbert R. and Artis E. England, was born September 7, 1960 at Holy Family Hospital in Estherville, IA. She graduated from Ringsted High School in 1979, attended Waldorf College for 2 years and graduated from Buena Vista College with a Degree in Psychology.

She returned to Estherville where she worked at Echo Non-Profit helping handicapped people. Later she moved on to America West Airlines in Gilbert, AZ, McDonald’s Headquarters in Oakbrook, IL, and finally at Household Financial, also in IL, as a mortgage underwriter.

Lynda’s faith was very important to her. She was raised with a strong religious influence, taught to respect God and others. She was confirmed in the Lutheran faith in 1976 and continued to live her life … according to the principles she believed in. She always enjoyed being in church and bringing joy to those around her.

Lynda always enjoyed being with people. She especially enjoyed being with family and friends, shopping, pool, word puzzles, reading, music and most of all, dancing and socializing. Her personable, outgoing attitude made it easy for her to befriend others and make them feel included and welcome.

Lynda and Aaron met in 2000. They enjoyed many activities together such as hanging out with friends, camping, whitewater rafting and sporting events like Blackhawks games. They were united in marriage on December 12, 2012 (12-12-12). Throughout their 20 years together the love they shared continued to flourish. She will be greatly missed!

Lynda passed away Wednesday, March 5th, 2020 at Glen Oaks Hospital at the age of 59. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

She is survived by her husband Aaron, her brother Ronald, sisters Vickie and Cindy, and her cats, Sadie, Callie, and Missy. Also 1 nephew, 5 nieces, and many great nephews and great nieces.

She brought joy to all those around her with her infectious smile, her bubbly laugh, and her warmth. Lynda will truly be missed by the lives she had touched.

To the family of Lynda You have my sympathy in the loss of Lynda. We grew up as neighbors along with being in 4-H together. Lynda prospered well in her life and sounds like she touched many souls. God has prepared a place for all of us, some sooner than we wanted. I will pray for your strength to keep you faith strong.❤️

Sending our deepest sympathies, sorry to hear of Lynda’s passing. The Lord knows the pain you feel, the grief you carry, the tears you cry, the memories you’ll cherish, the comfort you’ll need, the strength you’ll require. Thinking of you and praying the tender ministry of the Lord will comfort you. Hear me, O Lord; for thy lovingkindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies. Psalm 69:16 Sending our love and prayers to you at this time. Duane and Lorraine Cummins
