Margaret Dal (nee Brenner) Rogers, 88, born July 25, 1932, passed away February 15, 2021 at Northwest Community Hospital surrounded by her family. A longtime resident of the Northwest Suburbs, Margaret was a devoted wife to the late Robert Rogers (2020) for over 68 years and adored mother to eleven children: Kathleen Rogers Henderson, Debra (John) Bolash, Linda (Thomas) Voirin, Diane Rogers, Kevin (Kimberly née Caruso) Rogers, David (Renee née Zbyszewski) Rogers, Lawrence (Linda née Nasser) Rogers, Mark Rogers, Steven Rogers, Jeffrey (Leane née Minia) Rogers and Jennifer Rogers. A loving grandmother to 32 grandchildren and devoted ‘Nana’ to 10 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Carl and Dorothy (nee Robertson) Brenner and sister-in-law Marjorie Rogers. Survivors include her dear sister Cathie Disparte (late Phillip), In-laws Jack (late Joan) Rogers, Mary (late Don) Dombrowski, and many cherished nieces and nephews.

Margaret (Marge) was a devout catholic who shared her faith through words and deeds. She was very active in her former parish, Saint Raymond de Penafort where she worked alongside her husband to coordinate and run several successful educational and fundraising activities. Bob and Marge were both active members of CFM at the Archdiocesan level.

Margaret taught herself to use computers and displayed her artistic ability through needlepoint and crocheted countless treasured afghans, hats, and scarves creating keepsakes for generations to come. She loved listening to show tunes, singing at church and playing the piano in rare moments of peace and quiet.

She was a quintessential stay at home mom, who brilliantly organized the chaotic household for her family. Margaret co-created a home of love and honesty where her children were raised to be independent thinkers and self-reliant adults.

Margaret will be remembered for her innate wisdom, sense of humor, and her endless capacity to love.
