Ciao Zia Maria, It is very sad to hear that you are not with us anymore! I still remember when we visited you for the Christmas hols in 2011. We received a warm welcome after 12 hours of a long flight from Italy and Germany, and you immediately treated Raffaele, Luigi and me as your grandchildren. You made us feel like home, thank you!. I have always been intrigued by your captivating stories about being an Italian migrant in the US. I do believe you set a strong example of courage and resilience for your girls as an 'ante-litteram' feminist: you are self-made person and your achievements are even greater considering that you are a woman. I will always keep a great memory of you. I am not a believer, but I am sure you will still be alive in the hearts of your family and friends. Risposa in pace a tantissimi saluti, dovunque tu sia! Enrico
