I wake up each morning, thanking God for a new day. Then I think, "Marilyn is in ETERNITY". I'm thankful that you're at peace, but sad for the emptiness that your leaving has left . We've shared a lifetime,, playing together as toddlers. I will always love you.

Oh, dear sweet Cousin/Sister. How I'm going to miss talking with you, laughing with you, driving to Wisconsin to see JoJo with you. You were one of the most caring, loving people I've ever known, and while we will all miss you and your big smile and sparkling eyes, you are finally at peace. I'm so glad I got to share so much time with you in February and March even though it was in a hospital and nursing home but again, boy did we laugh, you, Marietta and I. I'm glad when we asked you, more than once, if you knew you were loved you said, yes, you did. And yes, you were by so many people. I carry your heart with me in my heart. You are now one of the stars and we can look at you shining as you always did. Love, Cookie xoxo

Meema, I miss every little thing about you. I was just talking to Shelby and we were reminiscing for a little over an hour, crying and laughing about all the things you did and said. You were so funny.. You gave up EVERY little thing just to ensure that it would make us smile. You’ll go down in history as one of my favorite people to have ever lived. Thank you for everything I love you with every ounce of my being ❤️

Sweet Marilyn and I shared many enjoyable Thanksgiving celebrations at the home of my sister and brother-in-law, the Foleys. Marilyn’s warm smile, gracious manner, and lively conversation endeared her to me. As our annual Thanksgiving festivities drew to a close, grandchildren Shelby, Matt & Nick headed to “Meema Pope’s” house for a fun overnight—and then to decorate her tree for Christmas. Marilyn adored her grandchildren and they adored her—it was a pleasure to witness their love. Pat from Quincy, IL.

I can only imagine your greeting in heaven, I can picture you and my mom, Rosemary and of course your amazing Mike and John Green! Rest In Peace beautiful lady! I love you so much!

Loving stepmother to Kim Gerry (Oscar Gerry), Kristen Pope and Michael Pope, Jr (David Hathaway). You were such a special woman. So loving, compassionate, with a dash of sassy. You will be missed, Mare. I love you.
