With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mario D. Arquilla, on Sunday, April 10, 2022. He passed peacefully surrounded by his family who loved him dearly. Born in Raiano, Italy, to the late Maria and Luciano Arquilla, he immigrated to America with his family coming through Ellis Island in 1955. He proudly served in the Army in 2nd Armored Division, Hell on Wheels, and was stationed in Germany. Later, following in his father’s footsteps, he built a thriving construction business, Marlin Builders, where even until recently, he still spent many hours in the office. He loved travel- especially to Europe where he enjoyed visiting his many cousins in Italy and France, who have always held a special place in his heart. He devoted his life to his family and his bond with them unbreakable. He was the best father, papa, father-in-law, brother, uncle and cousin. He made a profound impact on all those lives he touched. Many who knew him would say he was the strongest, most kind, loving and generous man they knew. The sun shines a little less brightly with his passing; he will be greatly missed.

Mario D. Arquilla. Devoted father of Hon. Gina (Frank) DeBoni. Loving Papa of Valentina and Frankie DeBoni. Dear brother of Fran (Tom) Giovenco. Cherished uncle of Jackie and Joey Miserendino and Tommy Giovenco. Great uncle to Dominic, Vincent and Giovanni. Fond cousin of many. Beloved companion of Eugenia Viramontes “G2”. Father to Lisa (Gjoko) Belichevski, grandfather to Christian and Evangeline. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org).

Dearest Gina and family, No matter how old we are, it’s never easy to lose a parent. I wish I had been able to meet your beloved father. I know from all of Jackie stories, how special and generous of a man he was. A lifetime together is never enough. I’m keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. Rest In Peace, Mr. Arquilla.

Thinking of the Arquilla/DeBoni family in this difficult time. So honored and blessed to have known this wonderful, generous man. May his memory be a blessing.

Gina and Frank, You have my sincerest condolences on your loss. His bio makes it clear that there will be a huge hole in the hearts of your family, and everyone he knew. He was clearly part of the "greatest generation." May he be at peace. I will be making a modest contribution in his name to the Wounded Warrior project.

Dear Gina, Lisa, and family, My husband Brian, daughter Courtney, and I are filled with sorrow over your father Mario’s death. He was a good man and loving father. The last time I saw him was at our wedding where his daughter Lisa was our adorable, little flower girl. Please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers. We wish you peace and strength during this difficult time. Sincerely, Brian, Donna, and Courtney Levan
