Mary Elizabeth Santucci (nee Pompei), Age 96. Beloved wife of the late Domenic Santucci
Loving mother of Barbara (late Lee) Crecelius and the late Michele (Lester) Callas. Cherished grandmother of Karyn Leigh (Adam) Bechtel, Marc Ryan (Marisa) Crecelius, Sarah Crecelius (James) Lefort, Anne Renee Crecelius, Kristine Callas (Brian) White and Lisa Callas (Justin) Kees.  Devoted great grandmother of Carmen and Annabelle Bechtel, Colin, Alice and Violet Crecelius, Myles Lefort, August White, Madeline and Jackson Kees. Fond aunt and friend to many. Mary was preceded in death by her nine siblings. Visitation Sunday Oct. 2 from 3:00p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St., Roselle.  Funeral Monday, 9:45 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Isidore Church in Bloomingdale for Mass at 10:45 a.m.  Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.  Funeral Info: 630-889-1700 or www.salernofuneralhomes.com.

Dear Barbara and family, So very sorry for your loss.Grandma was a big part of all of your lives. She was a very special lady and is now with Uncle Dom, Michele and her family. Your Mom was a great cook and I loved her fig cookies. So glad I have some of her recipes. Aunt Mary will be greatly missed. Love Cousin Palma

Barbara and family, I am so very sorry to hear of Mary's passing. She was a wonderful and fun friend to my mom and so gracious and kind to me the few times I was with them. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers. May God give you all his peace and comfort.

Aunt Mary, l am going to miss you terribly, but l know you are with Uncle Dom, Michele, and your family. Don’t worry about Barbara, we all have her covered and she won’t be alone.
