Uncle Mel, my godfather and uncle, was a good and caring man who will be deeply missed. I have many found memories of visiting him and Aunt Harriet. I couldn’t wait to sit by the fire or to eat some of his smoked salmon. I am going to miss our Facetime chats, “Hey hunny how are ya?” along with our texts and calls. Hope heaven has prime rib and you remember how to make that special sauce for it. Love and miss you always. Love, Sarah, Tobey and Austin

We were saddened with the loss of Mel. It was always a pleasure to be in his company. And he treated us like family. Mel was a good man and we will keep him in our fondest memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with Harriet and the rest of his family and friends, during this time of sorrow. We love you mel. Gone but never forgotten. With all our love, The Allen Family
