This is to all of Mike's family and friends. I'm so very sorry for your loss. Mike was gifted in so many areas as well you know. He was a great photographer, reporter, journalist, singer and a giving person. He sang at my wedding back in 1971. He performed great! Mike and I met when we attended Prospect Hill Grade School.in Burlington, Iowa. We became grade school friends. I was invited to his home on Parkway Street many times. His parents, Harry and Dorothy were the nicest people and had the coolest basement. It was like an arcade. A pinball machine and a bowling/shuffleboard game were just two games we played for many enjoyable hours. The walls were covered with autographed pictures of famous people that Harry called his friends. So cool! Incidentally, to this very day people still say Harry Hatt was the "All Time Best" City of Burlington Parks Superintendent. Mike was so very proud of that. He spoke so lovingly about his sisters and brother. Truly great memories! RIP
