While I was being raised by our grandparents in Chicago, visiting Aunt Gerry, Uncle Wally, and later Uncle Irv and spending time with Mike, Lisa, Tony, and Regina were some of the best times of my childhood. While we spent less time together as we grew older, I can recall how happy Mike was when Lydia was born and when he met Tha and with the addition of Rylan and Wesley to their family. Mike has always held a special place in my heart, and I know he will be missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to know him. My heart goes out to Tha, Lydia, Ryaln, and Wesley and our family in this time of loss.

I met Mike playing golf with Tony at White Pines about 100 years ago. He was funny, smart, loved music and always had a smile on his face, he was my friend and I will miss him. RIP Mike, you were a good man.
