He was everything a person should be: warm, kind, generous, wise, and always coming at you with a bear hug. I interviewed him for a high school history project - his story was incredible, and I remember being so impressed that after everything his family went through, he never lost any of his gentleness. He'll be greatly missed.

We loved Stan and offer our deepest sympathy to his family. What a wonderful man, Stan was so welcoming to us whenever we saw him. His understanding of the world was extensive and he was generous to share his knowledge and his time. His love for Teresa was an example for us in how to have a happy marriage. We always would sing the Polish celebration song “One hundred years!” at parties with the Noyszewskis. Even one hundred years would not have been enough, dear friend! You are very much missed Stan but we are grateful for your friendship.
