Dear Jules and Cheryl and Danielle and the rest of the family, I got to know Ray at the many Groves family parties he attended, and from the excellent Christmas celebrations at Ronnie & Joyce's. I knew him as a gentle and kind and lovely person, with a good sense of humor and great spirit. I think I remember him playing chess with Roy, and commenting on the shenanigans going on around them. Julie, so fortunate for you to have had him in your lives for 60+ years, never ever long enough. My heart is with you. - Mish (Jackie's sister)
