Dear Patsy and family, We just left our parish, St Nicholas Evanston where the 9:00am Mass was said for Rich on the Feast of the Baptism of our Lord. We were so saddened to hear of his death. We had such a lovely conversation with him in Nov when he called to wish us a happy belated anniversary. We will see you at the wake soon. Love to you all.

Just like Nick Gaudio, I first met and worked with Rich in Austin in 83/84. Solid guy, great reputation, stand up street cop and funny. Rest In Peace Rich. My sincerest condolences to his family.

I worked with Rich in 015 back in the 70s, and saw him nearly every year at "Colucci Fest." Rich was a great guy, and we had good times both at work and watching the families grow. I was very pleased to have had a nice visit with him at the Fest this past October. He will be missed. My sincerest condolences to the family.

Miss you already. Richard was a man's man and a strong family man who fathered a tremendous family and kept them under his wings. Farewell, good friend. May you find another basketball team to coach up there in your spare time. Much love to all the Banys.

Jane and I are deeply saddened to learn about Rich's death, which comes way too early and affects so many whose lives he touched. We look forward to connecting with old friends at the wake on Sunday evening.

I spent a number of years from 1978 through 1981 working with Rich in the 015 District. He was a lot of fun to work with and a decent person to deal with.. We had some great times together with Steve, Nick, Brian & Bob C. My sincerest condolences to your entire family!
