I am so sorry for your loss! I know you do not know me but my mother is Emerele Capps. She has talked about her Uncle Rudy for a very long time. It is a shame that we had never met. She is very upset with his passing, just know that thought of him as her brother not uncle. Give your family in Illinois our love from Texas!

We both are very sorry for the loss. Uncle Rudy's sense of humor was awesome! He would call me at my shop when I first opened it. It would be about 10am and he would say he put in his day already. he just wanted to bust my chops that I had the rest of the day in front of me. I really enjoyed his calls. We would talk about what he does; what fixture he was building or a jig he made. We would talk about both our families and about the old days with his sisters and brother Tony. The twinkle in his eyes were so endearing. Nancy and I will miss him.

I am so very sorry for your family’s loss. Papa Rudy had so much love for his family and his extended family. I will always remember his sharp memory and his strong hugs. I am grateful that he loved my kids as if they were his grandkids, and that we were able to share fun times and holidays together. Papa Rudy may have left this physical world, but I know that he has been reunited in Heaven with his loved ones who have passed before him. May God bless his soul in Heaven. .
