Brown, Sean R.

Sean Reynolds Brown, 64, of Bloomingdale, IL. Loving partner and soulmate of Vicki Baccelli-Vega. Devoted father of Dan (Jeri), Erin and Casey. Adored papa of Connor Ramirez. Dear brother of Marianne (John) Healy, Peggy (Robert) Blyth, Tom Brown and Patti Alpert. Cherished son of the late Bernard F. and Anne M. (nee Reynolds) Brown. Proud uncle of Kevin Healy, Kelly (Tom) Murphy, Meghan Blyth, Lauren (Patrick) Zeunik and Lindsey (Nick) Beckman. Great uncle of Shane, Dylan and Ryan Murphy, Alanna and Isaiah Zeunik.

Sean was a proud graduate of St. Angela Grammar School (Class of 1971) and St. Patrick High School (Class of 1975).

He was an employee of the DuPage County Water Department for 19 years and had recently retired in 2020. He volunteered his time at VFW Post 2377 in Glendale Heights helping to prepare Thanksgiving Day meals for veterans and enjoyed coaching his children’s basketball and baseball teams for many years through the Bloomingdale Park District. He was very proud to be a Eucharistic minister and lector for the 8:30am Sunday mass at his parish of St. Isidore in Bloomingdale.

Sean was a loyal and true friend to many and will forever be known as a diehard Cubs and Old Style fan.

Per Sean’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 10:45am at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 427 Army Trail Road, Bloomingdale, IL (northeast corner of Army Trail Road and Gary Avenue). Church entrance is located on Gary Avenue.

Doubleman, Teddy, Joe Clam The Hot Dog Man, Dr. Hate, Duke The Dog Catcher, Stix, Box O Rocks, Snorty, The Rigger, That Nut Ball In Arizona, Crew Leader In Training, Supervisor In Training, AND OF COURSE "THE COUNT" I wish I could remember all of the nicknames that you created! I am so privileged to have shared 19 years worth of memories with you. You are an unique and beautiful soul, your personality "ran the gamut". You have the mind of a scholar, the patience and compassion of a saint, the sense of humor of a self deprecating 15 year old, and enough common sense to fill a portable hard drive! (Even though you don't know what a hard drive is) I will never know anyone else like you, but I bet you babies will share all of those qualities. You will continue to make me simultaneously laugh and cry as I remember all of our outings, antics, secret codes, plans, inside jokes and schemes. Hey tell "The Policeman" that he was ahead of his time by leaving the family name off of the mailbox! I know you have a lot to tell them, but give your Mom and Dad a break from now on and shorten your stories!! You Know I love You, Later Bud. BYAHH !!!!

Still can't believe you're gone. Have no idea how long it will take for me to really KNOW it. I love looking at this picture of you because I feel like your brown eyes are looking directly at me and it comforts me. Even in your final weeks, you would look directly into my eyes when I would pull close and talk to you. I know you probably still had so many things to say and couldn't but as long as you were able to comprehend what we were all saying about how much we loved you and were going to miss you, it was ok. Rest easy, dearest of brothers...you have earned it. There will not be a day I won't think of you. I will love you and miss you for ever and ever and ever. Love, Patti P.S. Please say hi to mom and dad for me.
