Stella made her family better. She made the world better.

She would enter a room sparkling, with hair perfectly coiffed… commanding the adoration she loved.

“Sparkling” also reflected who she was on the inside.

A fearless woman with an insatiable appetite for life, Stella’s positivity inspired those around her. She was a protector of the family and a convener of friends with a remarkable ability to immediately turn a stranger into a friend.

She was a leader, the rock of the family, with an energy and love of life that pulled you in. She could light up a dance floor at 2 in the morning, and then make the world’s best spaghetti for Sunday dinner.

She would handcraft elaborate greeting cards for family and friends that had the same ‘sparkle and bedazzle,’ with heartfelt messages reminding the recipients how much they were loved.

She defined what it means to have a life well lived.

Stella made her family better. She made the world better.

You’ll be missed beyond words.

Stella is lovingly remembered by her daughters Christina and Michaeline, grandchildren Steven (Kevin) and Dominic (Courtney), great-grandchildren Ben and Porter, sisters Antoinette, Quinta, Julie, and Rosemarie, boyfriend Bernie, and her many nieces and nephews.

Everything you've been through over the years and always call or stopped by to see us when Al played (drums) Throughout all of my own medical illnesses and divorce and then finally getting together with Al, you always encouraged me and gave me support. I've missed seeing you through the pandemic years and was so looking forward to seeing you and Bernie again. So many others are basically acquaintances, but you've been a true friend. I'll forever love you and miss you my dear. To Bernie and family- I send you my deepest condolences.

Iwona and I are saddened by the news of Stella's passing . Our condolences to her family and friends May she Rest in peace. For the little time that we knew Stella, we knew that she was one of the nicest people we have ever met. I think it was the first time we met her, I told her that I was trying to cook meatloaf. The next time we met, She handed me a handwritten recipe for the one she always made. That was so thoughtful of her to do that for me. I still have the recipe and it was the best meatloaf I ever had. Thanks, Stella .................RIP .......We will miss you ! Bob and Iwona

Twenty one years ago a group of ladies met at St Isidore. Stella decided we should form a bond, a club. . The Ya-Ya’s club was created. Stella was our matriarch, bonding us together. One of my best memories is her Christmas hot dog dinner in October and her personalized gifts to each one of us. We love you, Stella. Ya-Ya, Judy.
