Time, distance and other circumstances has kept us from seeing each other for a few years. However, I will always remember that big toothy smile and your raucous voice and laughter. I always knew when Steven was in the house even when I could not see you. You left the world with a beautiful, smart, precious gift; your daughter Gianna. You left her with the two people (your parents) that you know love her as much as you. I am glad that you were part of my life and will never forget you Steven. I love you. Vaya con dios. Aunt Paula

When I heard the news of your passing I was divested and right away I prayed for your beautifully daughter "G" as she is your world and family to get through this tough time. I stated to go down memory lane, then started to laugh with all the good memories, such as the 1st time we meet was at our Work Christmas Party when you got the folding stool ladder and how excited you were and cheering on how this will come in so handy at work. (and yes, that laugh you had was very contagious as everyone started laughing with you and cheering you on.) I will keep your family and your beautifully daughter "G" in my prayers as I know you will be looking over as their guarding angle. Rest In Peace Steve - you will be missed.

Steve: You have accomplished more than many will know. If it wasn’t for you and a few simple words; my brother and I may never have become as close as we are still to this day. I will always remember what you did for us. I Love you for that, and will never forget. Truly I say, Thank you, Rest In Peace.

There was this amazing soul with a smile that could light up the darkest of rooms. A soul so loud anyone who didn't know him, soon would being drawn in by his silly stories and contagious laugh. He was generous, loyal and loving. He was genuine and funny. He almost always seemed so happy, but as time went on there were times you could see that life was weighing on him. His vivacious energy was exhausting at times but it was nature. He didn't miss a beat carrying on full conversation with everyone from the cashier at 7-11 to the bagger at Jewel, sometimes even just at the gas pump he could start a conversation with the next person over and it was like they knew each other for years. His number one topic of conversation...Gigi, his beautiful daughter. No matter what Steve always would turn the most random of conversations into something to do with his "G". Steve had a great career and was so proud of his certifications. He was more than fond of his lifelong friendships from childhood and if you had the pleasure of knowing him, you were guaranteed to hear a wild story about ALL of his closest buddies. I love the memories of him that way. This is the way I will always remember him. I will always remember the man he truly was here on Earth. I read that once a person serves their purpose, that is when it is their time to be with God. I know that Steve served his purpose by the legacy of happy memories he leaves behind. I know he served his purpose by being a friend. Mostly I know he served his purpose by gifting the world with Gianna, she's everything a man can hope for in a daughter. Fly high Steve. Thank you for the memories, I will always cherish them.

Rest in Peace Steve. So much to say, but not sure how to say it. You are a great guy, big heart, kind and devoted. Gianna was your world and I hope she will always know that. You came to work everyday for her. I am so sorry for your struggles. I hope all the times you asked for my help and advice i was able to help. You were a big pain in my ass but dang it I loved working with you and we all miss ya so much. I wish I made the wellness call to the police again this time. I just thought you were back where you were the 1st time. I think i am going to retire your clipboard box. Miss you Steve, I hope your mind and soul is at peace now. And whoever reads this, please tell his daughter she is all he talked about, everything he lived for. She was his world, no matter how lost he got. I know his focus in her eyes at times may not have reflected this, but she was it, his whole world. I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. Steve is/was a special guy. Good guy.
