Theodoros K. Kastrantas, age 78, born May 25, 1941 in Tzivas of Arcadia, Greece. Laid to rest on February 18, 2020. Beloved husband of Anastasia (nee Giannakopoulos); loving father of Christina (Kenny) Jimenez and Katina Kastrantas, cherished grandfather to Anastasia and Theodora Jimenez. Beloved son of the late Konstantinos and Christina Kastrantas. Dear brother of Athanasia, the late Demosteni, the late Antonia, and the late Stamatia.
Visitation for Theodoros will be held at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 893 North Church Rd. in Elmhurst on Friday, February 21, 2020 from 9:30 to 11 AM. Funeral service will be held at 11 AM. He will be laid to rest at Arlington Cemetery, 401 E. Lake Street in Elmhurst. At the request of the family please do not send flowers.
Theodoros will always be remembered for his generous and loving spirit. He arrived from Greece in 1965. He married Anastasia in 1969. His career first began as a barber. Theodoros then later became a successful businessman, opening many Smokehouse restaurants in the Chicagoland area. May his memory remain in our hearts forever.
