I met Tom ten years ago, after hearing of his story of drinking, poison water at work. I have met Tom's family and they also drank some of the same water. Tom is the Biggest warrior I have ever met in the fight for good water. Day's before he passed,he told me he wishes he could help more people from being exposed to posion water. True servant of God, thinking of other's. God bless Thomas and his loving family.

I was listening to the radio on my way to the club this past Sunday when the announcer mentioned a FULL WORM MOON...Tom's favorite time to go fishing! We spent a lot of great times together out on his boat under the light of a full moon...we hadn't talked for a couple days and I owed him a call. When the phone connected, I jokingly said: Hey Tom, get your butt out of bed...it's a beautiful day and we got a full moon! There was a pause...then Rose told me I just missed him. I'll see you tonight, my friend...but I will think of you whenever I gaze at a full moon. Thanks for the memories...Rest in Peace.

The Wrestling World has lost a great wrestling fan this week. Tommie, 77, of Bartlett, IL had passed away. A loving husband of 57 years to Rose, father to Frank and Debra as well as his extended family. Tommy’s late parents, The Swede and Helen were avid wrestling fans of Walter Palmer Heavyweight Wrestler who became close friends of the Palmer Family. Tommie worked out obsessively. Tommie called him Wally and Wally gave Tommie pointers, advising him to adjust his training so not to develop muscle lock. Once retired, Walter presented his professional punching bag to Tommie. Tommie went on to write a book “is Anyone Safe Anymore?” In his book he describes his relationship and admiration for Walter Palmer the Wrestler. He will be missed.

A very good friend for 30 years. I met Tommy when I joined Maywood Sportsman Club in 1989. He was Maywoods fishing Guru. Every time we met we would talk about fishing. He lived to fish and spread his knowledge of fishing. He would always be giving me tips about fishing at Maywood. He was devoted to the lake and the fish at Maywood. That lake was his baby. Tommy will be greatly missed. I hope I can live up to his expectations he cast on to me..

Dad, I miss you already. I'm sorry I was not able to be there to say goodbye. I love you and hope that you are surrounded by all our friends and family and of course all of our fur babies . Tell everyone we miss them and to please watch over us on this place we call Earth. Give us a sign if you can that you are with our Lord in Heaven. Until it's my time, I'll do the best I can and one day we'll be reunited in Paradise.
