Thomas James Spanos, 82, retired C.P.D.; beloved husband of Rosalie (Altmeyer); devoted father of Fred (Julie), Nick (Kelly), Tony (Jenny), Tom (Michelle), and Jimmy; loving son reunited with Constance and James; cherished grandfather of Marianna, Tommy, Samantha, Thomas, Gerry, Nicholas, Alyssa, Nikko, Sophia, and Bella; dearest brother of Chris and the late Phyllis; fond uncle of Tom.
A biography of his life cannot honor him the way that he deserves. No words at all can. The closest measure of him comes from how the ones who love him feel—so devastated to lose him; so hopeful that there’s a paradise that forever gives him whatever his precious heart desires; so desperate for him to show us that he watches over us until the beautiful moment he brings us back home with him; and so committed to make him as proud of us as we are of him.
