Vince was a nice guy who skated with a girl named Karen Kirkwood. He quit skating so he could go into the Navy. Karen had no partner so I paired up with her. His mom was a sweetheart and sold me his old skating costume so I wouldn't have to have a new one made to use while skating with Karen. I didn't know him really well but reconnected with him years later but before his accident. What a great guy and nice man he was. He will be missed for all eternity.

Vince was a figure skating student of mine. I was his first coach and he skated so well in his first year that he won the title in the State of Illinois in his division. I am very distressed to hear of his passing.

Vince was by far the best father and me and my mother both loved him to death and I'm completely heart broken that hes gone but as least hes looking down on us and smiling.

Vince was a great guy and shipmate. We had a lot of good times and adventures during my brief time aboard the Puget Sound. My prayers go out to your family Vince.
