Jesus, draw near to us in our hour of sorrow. Help us who believe in you to cling to the hope that in death life is only changed, not ended. Strengthen us in the belief that one day we, too, will be resurrected, forever reunited with our loved ones, where there will be no more sickness, no more sadness, no more tears. For then we will share with you, through you, and in you—the gift of eternal life. —J. Michael Sparough, S.J.

I'm so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. We hadn't seen each other in a long time. We saw each other a couple of weeks ago and it seemed like we picked up where we left off years ago. I went to grade school with Gibs and we were friends for a long time. I will miss him forever.

We were so deeply saddened to learn of your passing Bill. You were always so kind, respectful and knowledgeable in everything. You were truly everybody's favorite. Your warm smile and hearty laughter that attracted everyone around you will be forever missed. Our hearts are broken, longing to remember your infectious atmosphere. We are so thankful to have been able to share the times we've had together. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and wisdom. Thank you for always being there for us. Thank you for your love and friendship.

My deepest condolences to the family. Bill was a great friend and and even better darts partner. The love and passion for you family and music(Blues) go without saying. The times that we spent/vacationed together will forever be in my memories. We sometimes did not always see eye to eye on a variety of topics. We mostly agree to disagree and went on with the day. You will surely be missed and loved for all eternity.

Bill. I feel a deep sadness to hear you passed away. You are a greatest technician of spindle re-building in my memory. I liked your engineering style and I respected you as a professional engineer. Now just I hope you are in a peaceful sleep. Kaz. Yamaguchi from Jtekt in Japan

When first me (Sarah) then Sig left Toyoda, we felt very keenly the loss of the many friendships forged over 20+ years. For me, Bill was a kind, patient teacher and mentor who was always ready to help me out of some mess of my own creation and explain it in such a way that I understood and would remember. We have been out of touch for many years, but I will never forget Bill's willingness to go the extra mile and offer his wisdom and guidance. He was always good-natured, kind and patient most of all in the high pressure of his job and the environment we worked in. I learned so much and he asked so little in return. Thank you Bill for never forgetting me for the football squares too! Much love and many prayers for his soul to rest in peace and our sincerest condolences to Jim and Shari and his entire family at home and Toyoda. May our good God watch over you all and please know Bill is resting in the peace and the love of the Lord. This I believe with all my heart. Thank you for sharing him with us all. Sig and Sarah Weigert

Words cannot express how sorry I am to hear about the loss of Bill. Bill was sincerely a good guy that always took the time to talk to you. He could make me laugh so hard some times that I had tears running down my face. I truly considered him one of my favorite co-workers and will be missed. He was always my favorite JTAM’s spindle guy though we did not see each other often. I still remember the time when we took a local sightseeing in Japan. He was cramped in my small Japanese car, but kept laughing for everything he experienced. When he took me out for dinner during my TMU(JTAM) visit, I could not stop laughing because of him. I will miss you, Bill-san, and I will never forget the good old days with you. R.I.P.

When Bill's grandson was born, he was delivered at NWCH where my mom works.. my mom noticed Bill's Toyoda sweater and they began talking. The next morning i came into work and i heard Bill yell "Brigitte! i met your mom last night" a lot of fellow employees (including Bill and I ) started hysterically laughing at how Bill decided to word that statement. EVERY single time i saw Bill, he stopped to say hi and ask how i was doing. He was one of the sweetest people at this company, no one had a negative thing to say about him! he will TRULY be missed!

Bill was a good guy, a good manager, and a good friend. His unfailing professionalism, knowledge, and honesty made him trusted by customers and co-workers. When he came south to enjoy a Nascar race, I enjoyed seeing him having a really good time. My sympathy and condolences to Jim and all the family on your loss. Sincerely, Robert

Lunch time at Toyoda and there was a table with "guys" and "girls" that was the way he used to address to us. Even we spoke for a couple times I can tell from the bottom of my heart that I'll miss you saying: "Microwave is all yours Ana" RIP Bill.

I worked together with Bill for many years. I used to tease him that he was the most reluctant, but maybe the best salesman we ever had! Once he began teaching someone about his department, he couldn't help but do a great job, he really was the best. We went fishing together, and once went to Taiwan together. We pretended to be Canadian hand tool makers when we visited a competitors factory. Neither of us could remember we were supposed to be from Canada! I remember Bill & I sitting there, and this Taiwanese guy asks Bill, "So how is the Weather in Canada?" Bill looked at him, puzzled, and said "How would I know?, Oh, I mean cold, it's Canada, man..." We laughed about that all day... He saved our bacon so many times with our customers...no one knew his stuff so well. I will always miss my friend, miss our spindle guru, miss our fishing buddy, I will always miss Bill.

Bill was the greatest co-worker as he always had a positive attitude and was always striving for the best on every project he worked on. I was lucky enough to have worked with him for many years and his laughter will be missed. He remains in my prayers...
