I still can't believe this is real. We all loved working with Alma. She put her heart into every detail of her conversations. We will pray for her family as such a wonderful person would leave a beautiful mark on them. Blessing to you all.

I work for a distributor in Kansas, and worked with Alma for a number of years. I always had great conversations with her, and always enjoyed talking. She did a great job, and was always willing to help me in any way. It broke my heart when I heard she had passed. Sorry for you loss!

So sad to hear this today. I had only spoken to Alma on the phone or by email for years! Such a nice nice nice person!! Even when she had to tell me that my Sun valves were not going to ship for months.. it always felt ok when Alma told me! One of the greats in our business!!! My condolences to her family and co workers. Be proud of Alma!! Her smile and attitude was felt across the country. I will truly miss her on the end of my emails.

My most deep condolences on the lost of my friend, we always joked that we were the sisters that we didn't have, as neither one of us had a sister! Alma came to work in the 80's at Burke Comm. where I also worked. We immediately became friends, and my daughter never forgets a machaca/egg breakfast she made for her. My daughter was about 3 years old, but she says she remembers (that was like 35 years ago). Life happened and I ended up in El Paso, Texas, where she and Goyo came to Juarez to visit his family, and she brought baby Jaime over to El Paso to my house, so I could meet him. Things happened in our lives that we separated, moved, etc. and somehow lost touch. I looked and looked for her in phone books and the internet, but could not find her as she had gone to her maiden name. She did a FB post wishing me a happy birthday, and I don't even remember how I saw it, as I don't do Facebook. We re-connected in July 2016, and saw each other again in August 2016 when I visited Chicago. We went to her favorite place "Lalo's" in Schaumburg. We stayed there a long time, just downing food, laughter, and her favorite "frozen" margarita's. We had been in touch again, since, until May 2 when she told me she was in the hospital isolated, and very thirsty. She just wanted to go home and have an ice-cold soda (she said she didn't know why). It was heart-wrenching to look her up, after my heart told me to, last night. I did a search hoping not to find these news. May my dear friend who loved her Jaime and grand-baby so much, and spoke dearly of her daughter-in-law and her parents and brothers, now rest in peace. Gone way too soon. Will always remember her contagious laughter and beautiful face. God bless the family as we all deal with her loss.

My dear friend Alma...you were taken from us too soon. It just isn’t fair that you are gone. You were the sunshine that started every day for me at work. You made me laugh every day. I had the honor to have known you since 1996 when I first met you at Flodyne/Hydradyne. We have shared many stories and I will forever keep you in my heart. Love you always my dear friend. Xoxo xoxo

My Dearest Alma, You were more than a friend to me, you were like a sister. I will forever cherish you and hold you dear in my heart. The news of your passing ripped a hole in my heart and soul. I am beyond devastated. Each and every time with you was a good time filled with laughter and joy - I will hang onto those good memories forever. Thank you for being my friend, thank you for teaching me so much, thank you for being Auntie Elmo to my kids - thank you for just being you-truly you are one of the best humans ever. Heaven has gained a beautiful, joy filled Angel-but I would do anything to bring you back here to us.

Alma was my sister in law, but to me she was my sister, whom I loved very much! We used to talk or text each other almost everyday. When Louis And I visited Chicago, she would make sure to take her vacation at the same time because she said she loved to spend time with us. She was fun, funny, loving, and a great person. Alma was the glue to the family, and it hurts to know that we won’t be blessed with her presence any longer. God needed an angel with a beautiful laughter❣️

You didn’t have to meet Alma to know what type of person she was. You could see her smile when reading a simple email from her. Wishing for you to have a good day or thanking you. She went beyond the work aspect and her words were genuine. Leaving you with a smile and a warm heart. Alma’s passing will weigh heavy on all our hearts for a long time to come. God Bless Alma’s family as well as all at CMA. With deepest sympathies, David Huber, John Henry Foster St. Louis.
