What a beautiful picture of my beautiful friend. Connie was the sister I never had. Everyone loved Connie. She was the kindest person I have ever known. She had a heart of gold. Connie loved Kathy and Tom and her grandchildren so much. They were her world. Kathy was like her daughter and best friend. She kept her sense of humor until her last days. Connie was so strong and brave beyond words. Now there is no more suffering. Connie is now at peace with her husband Bill who she loved so much. I still can't believe she is gone. I love her and will miss her forever. I believe this in my heart and will carry these thoughts forever. I heard your voice in the wind today and I turned to see your face. The warmth of the wind caressed me as I stood silently in place. I felt your touch in the sun today as its warmth filled the sky. I closed my eyes for your embrace and my spirit soared high. I saw your eyes in the windowpane as I watched the falling rain. It seemed as if each raindrop fell it quietly said your name. I held you close in my heart today it made me feel complete. You may have died, but you are not gone. You will always be a part of me. As long as the sun shines, the wind blows, the rain falls, you will live on inside of me forever for that is all my heart knows.
