When I heard the news, I was incredibly shocked, saddened, heartbroken. We never really think that those so dear to us will ever leave us. I worked with Debbie for many years with the City of Chicago Revenue Dept. She was always a ray of sunshine, even if you were having a bad day she always had the biggest smile for you. She loved calling everyone Baby... anyone who knew her knew that was her favorite way of addressing you. She was a great person and an even better mother and grandmother, there isn't anything that she wouldn't do for her family,,, family came first for her. Debbie will be missed,,, We didn't keep in contact with each other after we split ways from our City jobs,,, but knowing she was out there and knowing that she was happy always made me feel good... knowing now that she is gone and her light is no longer on this earth it will be a little more darker. But Heaven above better get ready for this mover and shaker. LOVE you Debbie.

I still can't image the future without you. I'm so blessed to have had you in my life. I'm so happy you had the last 9 months of joy and love despite the crazy covid crisis. It's tough just looking at Santa and imaging your smile and laugh. You'll always be a part of my heart kind woman. Send us hugs from heaven.

Only knew Debbie through her sister-in-law and my dear friend Feleicia. However, Feleicia has a way of making one feel that you personally know an individual. And that is how I feel. Feleicia fondly shared of Debbie's sweetness and zest for life. Deepest sympathies from my sife, Joan and I to all her family and loved ones to keep her legacy of a wonderful and loving woman always.

My Deepest Sympathy during this time. She was a beautiful soul who touches many hearts more than we will ever know. Her smile was contagious and she had a heart of Gold. Sorry I missed her last visit at the DMV Naperville. I will treasure her retirement send off next door at Neighbors Pub. She was so excited to start her next chapter in her Life. RIP Debbie. You will always be that brightest star in the sky. Everyone Keep her memory alive by sharing & caring like she would want.
