Dennis Michael Stralina was born April 15, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois to Fred and Georgianne (nee Kelly) Stralina. He passed away on June 9, 2019, just a few short months after being diagnosed with brain cancer (glioblastoma).

Everyone who knows Dennis knows he was a printer by trade. Dennis followed the family footsteps and started his printing career at the age of 18 and continued as a printer for the next 40 years. If you took time to truly get to know Dennis, you quickly learned printing was merely his occupation and a means to earn money and pay the bills. Dennis was all about taking care of his family. Dennis’ true vocation in life was being a father, husband, son, brother, friend and of course, a lifelong Cubs fan.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Maureen (nee Dolan), his children, Michael (Stephanie) & Susanna (fiancé Christian Meyer), his mother, Georgianne Stralina, siblings, JoEllen (Terry) Moore, Therese (Larry) Griffin, Mary Alice Stralina, Jack (Cary) Stralina, his mother-in-law Patricia (Bob) Hill, sisters-in-law Colleen Dolan, Kathleen Dolan, Eileen Dolan and brother-in-law Kevin Dolan as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cherished friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Stralina, his brother, James Stralina and father-in-law, Calvin Dolan.

Services will be held at St. Isidore Church 427 W Army Trail Rd Bloomingdale, IL 60108 on Friday, June 14, 2019. Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. with interment immediately to follow at St. Isidore Cemetery.
