Diego De Astis. Beloved husband of Lucia (DiNatale) De Astis. He is survived by his four children
Pietro, Martina (Robert Rosen), Donato and Rosa. Diego was born on October 24 1963 in the
small town of Carbonara, Italy to Pietro and the late Marta De Astis and brother to Nicla De
Astis. He was the son in-law to Donato and Rosa DiNatale and brother in-law to Vito (Luisa)
DiNatale, Angela (Amatore) Laporta and the late Nicola (Josefina) DiNatale. He was also the dear
uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews.

We will forever be grateful for the life of Diego. He brought much joy to our little church in Saint Charles. It will never be the same looking out from the pulpit, preaching sermons, and not seeing him not in his head in anticipation, for the word of God.
