Domenico D’Alessandro, born in Bitritto, Bari, Italy on November 9, 1933, passed away on President’s Day, February 18th, 2019 in Bloomingdale, Illinois. Loving companion of Rose Ateniese. Survived by a dear sister, nieces and nephew, of Bitritto. Dear friend of many. He came to Chicago at age 17. Served as a member of the Air Force during the Korean War. Member of a Local Masonry Union. Member of Casa Italia and the Chicagoland Italian American Charitable Organization (CIACO). He loved gardening, wine making and cooking. He had an extensive knowledge of history; and politics, from international to local, was his passion. He will be widely missed
